Program Description: The Direct Install program is an incentive program sponsored by Eversource and NH Saves. This program assists small commercial businesses with the upgrade of lighting, refrigeration and HVAC measures to equipment with a higher efficiency which uses less energy and saves the business money. The list of available equipment within the program is extensive, however LED lighting and controls is the most widely recognized. Depending on the efficiency upgrades applicable for the location, businesses not only enjoy the value of the upgrade but also save a high percentage of their current monthly electric bill.

Program Name: Quartile 3 - Business Energy Advantage
Program Size: Q3 BEA
Program Description: New Hampshire’s Business Energy Advantage program is an incentive program designed to provide a turnkey solution for a comprehensive energy upgrade to medium sized businesses. This program assists businesses in upgrading efficiency measures throughout facilities such as lighting, HVAC and refrigeration systems. The program offers generous incentives for the upgrade and installation of the project directly from Eversource. In addition to this service, once installed the location enjoys an average reduction of 40% - 60% of their energy usage thereby saving the business money on their monthly electric bill.

Large Business Program
Program Name: Large Commercial Industrial (LCI)
Program Size: Large Business
Program Description: The Large Commercial and Industrial program is a turnkey solution program which provides equipment rebates and discounts for large existing commercial and industrial buildings. These projects are highly customized in their approach. The entire building, or campus of buildings are reviewed for all standard, custom and process energy efficiency improvements. Due to the high amount of energy used, the Large Commercial and Industrial program has the greatest opportunity to provide instant and long term savings for businesses.

Program Name: Small Business Energy Solutions
Program Size: Small Business
Program Description: The Small Business Program is designed specifically for smaller business customers. It offers technical and financial assistance to help businesses find ways to become more energy-efficient and save money on their monthly bill. After a free technical assessment of your facility has been completed, recommended energy efficiency opportunities will be provided along with the associated costs and benefits. In addition, the utility offers incentives that cover a portion of the installed cost on prescribed equipment. Eligible technologies include lighting, occupancy sensors, electric hot water measures, controls for walk-in coolers, air-conditioning, and programmable thermostats. Custom projects may also qualify.

Program Name: Large Business Energy Solutions
Program Size: Large Business
Program Description: The Existing Building Retrofit Program is designed for large business customers with an average monthly demand greater than 200 kW who are interested in saving energy by upgrading to higher efficiency equipment. Unitil provides financial and technical services to replace old, inefficient equipment, with new energy efficient equipment within existing facilities. Custom incentives are available to pay the expense of the lesser of a one-year payback, or a substantial incentive of the installed cost of the equipment.
